About Kaveh Cohen
2010 saw the release of Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction, one of the highest grossing and most anticipated video games of the year with over two hours of cinematic score. Now in demand in the growing world of video games, Kaveh has provided scores for Warner Bros. Interactive’s video game tie-in to the Green Lantern movie as well as Activision’s Battleship video game based on the 2012 summer blockbuster. Kaveh is currently hard at work on exciting upcoming titles from Ubisoft and Riot Games.
Recently Kaveh completed the score for Crawlspace, a feature from writer/director Josh Stolberg (Sorority Row, Piranha 3D) for Michael Eisner’s studio, Vuguru. Prior to that, Kaveh scored Victor Ginsburg’s critically acclaimed feature adaptation of Viktor Pelevin’s book Generation “P”. Kaveh coscored Marvelʼs hit animated series Wolverine and the X-Men which garnered Nicktoons their highest ratings to date. He’s composed scores and themes for dozens of television shows including Emmy nominated and award winning shows and mini series such as America: The Story of Us, Ocean Adventures, The Science of Star Wars, The Crash of Flight 191, Biography: John Travolta, Red Flag, Above and Beyond, Probable Cause and many others. Not stopping there, Kaveh has scored numerous commercials for clients including AT&T, Sony, SEGA, NBC, Mattel and Six Flags.
Kaveh’s theme for Splinter Cell Conviction was recorded by The London Philharmonic Orchestra for their best selling album “The Greatest Video Game Music” and reached number 23 on the Billboard charts. Most recently, famed violinist Angèle Dubeau recorded the theme from Splinter Cell Conviction with her string ensemble La Pietà for her new album “Game Music.”
Kaveh composed the score for The Bible Experience, an Audiobook of the Year winner. A complete and fully dramatized recording featuring an all star cast including Denzel Washington, Angela Bassett, Blair Underwood, Cuba Gooding Jr., Robert Guillaume and many others. His beautiful and dramatic score was recorded live in Prague.
